Courtyard Plaza was great. I spoke with the woman that was assigned to me, and everything was fine. There wasn't anything that I didn't like about it. There was no negative. They had a room where I had the choice of one person or two depending on what I was willing to pay. It had a shower, a bed, a table, and a dresser for clothing. The staff was caring and paid attention to what I had to say. She asked the right questions about the things that I didn't know even needed to be addressed. There was no bad smell. I went into the area where they were all meeting to have a little celebration of some sort, and it was just fine.

Courtyard Plaza is gorgeous. It was what was needed. The young lady that toured us had a good knowledge of what was going on. She explained everything to us. She showed us several rooms, but they were empty. She said that if the patients have personal things that are important to them, they could bring them. She showed us the laundry facilities, too. She showed us everything. And that's why I said I was sold on it because I knew it would meet my friends' needs. I was more impressed with the Courtyard because they're able to garden. The residents, the ones who want to, can plant little gardens. They plant vegetables and flowers, and they take care of and tend to those. I was impressed with that mainly. And all the residents look awfully happy to me. I am sorry I can't remember her name, but the staff was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable. All the questions we asked she was able to answer. She was well-versed on the facility.

I liked Courtyard Plaza. I liked that they had activities and I liked the price. There was a lot going on when I went there. There was a lot of people there. Everybody was out and about and doing things. There's a lot of activity going on. They had a band there playing for the people, and that was really good. The girl that showed me around was very nice as well. I saw the menu, but I wasn't able to taste anything. The menu was OK. It was in my top three. I saw a few of the rooms. They were clean, tidy, and nice. I liked the rooms as well. It was very homey. It seemed like the people were friendly towards each other, the staff with the residents. They were all getting along OK. No one seemed in distress. Everybody seemed happy. I didn't really have any interaction with the staff, only the administrator that showed me around, and she was very nice.

I liked the location of Courtyard Plaza. I also liked that they have a mix of population. The residents there seemed very happy. They were playing the kind of music that I would like to hear when I am that age, and the residents were enjoying the music. They also had a couple of games going on. I liked the activities that the residents were engaged in. All of them are in wheelchairs but they all seem mentally OK. I did not see a lot of aides and nurses to help them around. You can tell that the residents were like groupies. It's like living in a hotel year-round. The rooms that I saw were OK and they can have them decorated the way they want. They also provide the furniture. The staff who gave me the tour was fine, but I think the visit was kind of short. But I would recommend this place for assisted living.

The best thing that I liked about Courtyard Plaza is the patients were secure. Someone is always at the front desk and know who's coming in or going out. I also liked the fact that all of the patients were all up, dressed, and doing whatever activity they were doing that day or in the courtyard. There was no smell in the facility at all. Everyone was really neat, clean, and seemed happy. The staff who gave me the tour had a very good personality and attitude. I would rate their dining area a four. They were getting setup for lunch, and it looked good. All the tables had tablecloths, and they had real silverware, dishes, and everything.

My mother lives at Courtyard Plaza. The staff is wonderful. They are very informative, kind to my mom, make sure all of her needs are met, and they are very pleasant to talk to. The staff manages all of her appointments and assists her with medications. They do her laundry and housekeeping very thoroughly as well. My mom is in a shared room and the size is pretty big. They provide the bed and furniture to put your clothes. My mom enjoys the activities and musical entertainment they have. The food is also pretty good and my mom enjoys being here.
