Both the upper and lower buildings are poorly maintained. The smell of urine reeks throughout both Wellspring and the lower building. Depending on the staff member you associate with will depend on how you rank the staff. I had the unpleasantry of dealing with one women who was quite rude. She was habitually in the same hall my family member was in and she was very unhelpful and oftentimes discourteous. She bad mouthed the facility and the other staff members, which is very unprofessional. When I spoke to the supervisors I still didn't have any luck regarding the situation with my family member. However, I did meet a few women and men who were helpful. More times than not, both buildings are short staffed. Once, I was there to visit and only a med. tech and two aids were on for the entire building. My experience with the facility wasn't a great one.

My best friend, aka my mother faced a long battle with liver cancer. She was very independent all of her life and faced a lot different emotions as her health started to detioriate which also included having to give up some independence and ask for help. One feeling was not wanting to have to go into an assisted living facility. My mother actually "liked" Juniper Village and blended in very well. I believe that is due to the extraordinary caring and attention each and every individual that was employed by Juniper Village gave to my mother. I stopped every day to see my mother and there was always someone visiting her. My mother made friends with all employees from all departments of Juniper Village. I can honestly say that the last six months of my mother's life were soo much better because of Juniper Village and its employees. The employees treated me with great respect and always asked if I needed something. Those last few weeks of my mother's life, I basically moved in as I was not leaving my best friends side. The employees brought in a bed to her room, made sure I had meals and whatever I needed in order to get through a very stressful time in my life. Would I recommend Juniper Village at Huntingdon Ridge???? YOU BET!!!!!
