One of the first things that I noticed about Inland Point when I began visiting the community a few years ago is that it is probably one of the cleanest, most sanitary facilities I have ever been in. The staff members who work there are always tidying up something or organizing something. I am impressed by how very well they take care of the facility. The maintenance team is always ready to fix any maintenance issues throughout the community. The staff is constantly seeing to it that the residents have a nice, clean, and comfortable place to call home, a home that is organized and runs peacefully. I can see that the residents feel comfortable with in the facility, they tell me that they like having such an orderly facility to live in, one resident told me once that it is because of the organization that all of their needs are always met accurately and as scheduled. She said that she has now experienced living in an unorganized, chaotic, and messy community (her previous facility) and she would not wish that upon anyone. She said that she can not even recall how many times she was given someone else's medication or her restricted diet wasn't followed or how often she went without because no one was around to assist her with showers or laundry or dressing herself - she said there were several times she came to breakfast in her pajamas because no one had bothered to help her dress for the day! So she says after living through all of that and then finding a home like this, she says she feels so amazingly blessed. Like she had to go through the bad to get to the good - no matter how many times I tell her that she should have never had to go through any of those things she says that she is glad she did in a way because it showed her for one, the type of facility she does NOT want to live in and second it helped her to be more appreciative of what she gained in moving in to this facility, she said after living through that, that she will NEVER take this community for granted. She says in this facility she has everything she could ever hope for. She says the staff truly cares for each of them and really goes above and beyond in providing them with the best life possible, she says that she is constantly surrounded by friends and people who care for her but at the same time can enjoy some alone time in the privacy of her own apartment in a community where people actually respect each other's privacy. She said in her previous community people, staff and residents, would wander in to her apartment when ever they felt like it, without even knocking. She said that she had come home to find people in her apartment, she said she would wake up only to find people in apartment, she said that they would just wander in because her apartment door knob was broken and maintenance had not been by to fix it even after numerous requests. She said that this was not only terrifying but that it was a complete and utter violation of privacy. However, she says that since she has been here at Inland Point that no one has ever entered her apartment unless invited by her. She says she now has a sense of control that she never had before and that she feels so lucky to have found such a wonderful community filled with exceptional people.

I have had many, many of the residents tell me similar stories or make similar remarks about the community, they all seem so happy in this community and that is so wonderful to see. I would highly recommend visiting Inland Point, I'm sure you will be very please with what you find there.
