Myrtle Beach Manor

I believe that the assisted living facility was actually quite nice for a nursing home. My grandmother was in assisted living at Myrtle Beach Manor and from my vantage point it seemed like a small one bedroom apartment. In a way it resembled a single dorm room. There was a small kitchenette, inexpensive but nice furniture, and a bathroom. The facility also offered plenty of independence. My grandmother could take trips to the mall, the salon, and other venues via a shuttle bus. And she could leave the room to visit the rest of the nursing home as she pleased while living in Assisted Living. Myrtle Beach manor is certainly not the Ritz, but as far as the Assisted Living experience goes it seems to be cordial and homey.
