Murray House

Murry House facility is a lovely home in a nice quiet neighborhood. The residents are clean and well cared for. The staff was friendly and well informed. They were very helpful and able to answer all questions posed to them. The home is very cozy and well decorated with warm touches. The residents seemed to be contents as they were eating lunch together when I arrived. They were eager to visit with the new face and asked me to dine with them. I thanked them but declined to their disappointment. The staff and residents were very nice and all residents I observed were alert and bright in affect. The grounds are well cared for and nicely manicured. There is a nice sitting area in the backyard for sitting and visiting with loved ones. They are small so there is not as much for the residents to do as if they were in a larger facility. The residents are kept busy with Cards,Bingo,Family fun days, outings to shop and to Church for worship. Outings and They said they do try to take them out a couple times a week and transport to Doctor Appointments also. If you need a small environment for your loved one this is a place you want to look into.

My mother stayed at Murray House in one of their respite rooms following hip surgery. the care she received was excellent - very concerned and caring staff. also, the food was very good.
