I am a past client of this provider
Gordon Oaks is the only place that would accept my dad. We didn't really have a very pleasant experience there. He stayed there for a week. The food was acceptable, the facilities were roomy, but the furniture was worn and tired. Most of the staff is friendly, but the skilled care unit lacked the promptness in carrying out the physician's orders. They need to have better communication skills and listen to what the family and the patient is saying, or better coordination between the family, the patient, and the nurses. And of course, timely administration of correct treatments and correct dosage of medication.

When we decided that our grandmother would be going into an assisted living facility and back grounding many facilities, The Gordon Oaks Convalescent Center, was the last one on the list my family and I had to visit. We first walked inside the atrium, I fell in love with the layout and the view the facility had, before our eyes. We were greeted immediately with smiles and complimentary beverages. We were asked, kindly to be seated, while our tour guide becomes available. Our wait was no longer than five minutes, again greeted with warm smiles upon the tour guides arrival. The particular rooms/apartments as they like to call them, that we were showed were extremely spacious and had everything possible for a person of my grandmother's age to be able to feel active and Independent. Finally, when I took my grandmother to see it, she fell in love with it as well, and decided that would be her new home.
