The facility itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The grounds are well kept and the grass is always freshly cut. The hallways and common areas are clean and smell nicely. The staff is (for the most part) friendly and helpful, although sometimes it can be rather hard to find someone who is available to assit you. The rooms (or at least the room my Aunt was in) are pretty small and don't leave a whole lot of room for family and friends to vistit. We went to visit very regularly and each time found my Aunt alone, usually with her plates from her last meal still waiting to be collected. Her room was always tity and she always seemed to have all that she needed. There was a very small television in the room but she was unable to see it from the angle her bed was placed at. She always said that the food was "good enough" and that someone checked on her often, although we never saw anybody. All in all, the facility is great for someone who is still able to move freely by themselves. For my aunt, it was difficult because she was bed-ridden and had little mobility left. If someone from our family wasnt there, she was alone. I often worried about her needing for wanting something and having no way of letting anyone know. I know that it was also quite lonely for her.

The facility was very clean and nicely maintained, both inside and out. I did not, however, see any employees on any of my trips to see my great-aunt. There was a code to access the building (due to Alzheimer's patients)but there were never any nurses or attendants in sight once I got inside. My great-aunt had her own room but it was pretty small. There was room for maybe two to three people for visiting her but that was about it. She felt very alone there and it would have been nice to see that there were staff checking in on her more often. The television was always on for her but there was no way for her to change it as she had broken her back. It was also very small and mounted on the wall that she faced so I doubt that she was able to really see the picture. All in all it was a very nice place but there were a few factors that didn't make it 5 star in my mind.
