I am a friend or relative of resident

My mother has been a resident at Jude Gardens for 6 months. I have never seen her happier! She absolutely adores the staff who care for her as if she were a family member! She is able to interact with other residents as well as staff on a daily basis. They eat their meals in a common area and participate in fun agility exercises. I visit her weekly and she is always smiling and ready to interact even with her dementia. Her room is kept spotlessly clean and her personal hygiene is excellent. There is nothing more I could wish for my mother.

My Mother was at Jude Gardens for approximately 7 months prior to her passing in 2010. During her stay I found both the management and staff to be very caring individuals trying their best to make the residents feel at home and comfortable. I liked the fact that each day they would get all residents up and out of bed, dress them fully and move them into a common area so they could eat and interact with each other. Residents were always clean and neat with Men shaven and the ladies having their hair combed and a little makeup applied. I also found on occassion that one of the caregivers would file and polish my mother fingernails when time permitted. What also impressed me was that there was no set visiting hours. I especially liked this because not only did it make it convenient for the family I feel this open vsiting hour rule contributed to better care and overall cleaniness of both the residents and the facilty. I was a very frequent visitor coming at different times and days and I can honestly say that I never found my mother to be neglected or soiled and the facility was always spotless with everything in place, beds made, if before 6:30 p.m., and the facility never smelled any foul odors. When holiday occassions rolled around the house inside and out was always decorated to make the residents feel as much at home as possible and each resident was always presented with a little holiday print pillows for them to hold or place behind their heads while sitting up in their individual recliners that each was allowed to have in the common or den area. There were daily activities and exercises for the residents and birthdays were always celebrated with or without family. In conclusion - very satisfied with the overall care of my mother and the dignity she was shown while living at Jude Gardens and have recommended this home to others.

I am a friend or relative of resident

Our experience with Jude Gardens was one that gave us hope and peace of mind. After being told by Dad’s physicians that we could no longer be able to care for him at home due to the progression of his dementia, we were left with searching for a caring, clean and professional facility.
At first we settled on a facility near our home so that we could visit him daily. This proved to be a disaster due to the poor quality of care and deteriorating conditions that went downhill rapidly. This resulted in having to move him to another facility and that is when we were referred to Jude Gardens. It was here that we found a clean, nurturing and caring facility. The staff genuinely cares for the patients that are under their care. Their patience and compassion is the best you could ever hope for. They take pride in the quality of care they deliver. They work with the family and kept us informed at all times. They were supportive during his stay and were there for us when Dad passed away. He was happy and we had the peace of mind knowing that he was loved and cared for until his last day. I cannot thank the staff and the administration at Jude Gardens enough and I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants good care for their loved one.
