On touring this facility with my mother, I was immediately impressed. The grounds were well manicured and there were many trees providing a lot of shade, which is important in Arizona. I noticed many staff members throughout the tour. Every single one of them greeted us with a smile and a hello. My mother mentioned how nice everyone seemed. The best part of The Orchard was the great room/recreation room. It was very large with a lot of tables and chairs, couches, a movie-watching section, a library, card tables and meeting areas. Many of the residents were taking advantage of this area and from what I could see, they all appeared at home.
