I visited this facility

This facility is a large, newer beautiful home.

They have 10 residents.

The bedrooms are large, semi-private rooms with own bathrooms. They are fully handicapped equipped. Some are carpeted and some tiled.

They also have two large living rooms for sitting and watching television and movies. They also have a family room where they play games like bingo or cards. Outside they have a large, fenced yard with a large patio and nice lawn.

The food is home cooked in the large open kitchen, They serve three meals a day plus snacks, The diet looks nutritious,

The staff is all certified care givers with an RN on duty five days and on call. The owner is also an RN. They have up to 5 staff on days and 2 afternoons and nights. They appear to take good care of the residents.

Some doctors come in and a nurse practitioner.

The staff does the laundry there.

They do not transport the residents themselves. So I see that most activities are based in house, Residents go out with family or arrange other transport. In my opinion, this limits the residents level for active lifestyle,

Other than that, the home is very nice, clean and residents well cared for.

The owners are opening another home in Apache Junction. This first home has been open 5 years.
