Flint River

Flint River sets the standard for assisted living and care of Memory patients. The staff here is highly trained and educated to work with Dementia and Alzheimer’s clients. They have a Memory Unit here that will cater and care for your loved ones and keep them feeling safe and secure. The facility is well designed and planned with these clients in mind. Watching them interact with the clients was heartwarming. If I need to place a loved one because of Memory illness this would be an amazing facility. The staff is truly committed. There are many activities for the residents such as Wii, Bridge, Poker, Movies, Movies, worship services, educational seminars, exercise classes, book clubs and many more. The menu is planned well with healthy options and the food is very tasty. The rooms are large and decorated nicely. You cannot go wrong choosing this facility. The staff is compassionate and truly cares about the residents. I highly recommend this facility.

Flint River Memory Care was a great community. I got greeted right as my family and I walked into the community. We had a great tour of the community and the staff was introduced to us in detail. We actually got to know how the do all of the activities to enhance brain stimula for the residents. They cater to residents with Dementia or Alzheimers and have a very structured environment that has a secure door that residents cannot wander. This is very important to our family and this was a very difficult part in our family's life to have to move my father into a community . The staff amde us feel very comfortable and showed us the rooms open for move ins at this time. It was very spacious and clean , not what we expected in a assisted living community .The pricing on the rooms are a little pricey but we understand the care levels they provide would be worth the cost. They provide healthy meals 6 times a day and the care for my fathers incontinence issus. We are very pleased with our overall experience.
