Alzhiemers care F-. Too many trips to the ER (4 x in 5 months). Family medical wishes F- x3. Mom hated living at Logan House. I had to dress her too often. Housekeeping and food A-. Poor communication with Mom's POA.
The ultimate place for any family member that needs that extra special care that cant be provided at home. Very large menu, two excellent chefs. Activity room, large flat screen tv room, lounge area with fireplace. Staff is very attentive to residents wants and needs. One on one personal care for those that need a little extra assistance. Also a pet friendly facility. And the staff is out of this world, always compassionate, warm hearted and friendly. They really go the extra mile to show their care for your loved ones, giving them that sense of feeling at home. Beautiful facility. Loaded with activites and socials daily for your loved ones to attend and get involved with. Cant give Logan House enough praise!!! Those girls deserve a raise for everything that they do on a daily basis. They really do go above and beyond for your loved ones!
I visited this facility
facility seemed clean, rooms are spacious and staff seemed helpful. Does anyone out there have family there now? Looking to place dad there and want the best care. He needs loving care. Let me know if right place for him.

Less than desirable care. Sheets never changed unless asked. If garbage emptied there is often no bag put back in the can. Laundry gets lost. Not enough staff. Never an RN there. Rarely someone available at the front desk. Front doors are not secure (locked) or even wheelchair accessible. Frequent turnover of staff. Cleaning of rooms less than desirable, if done at all. WAY OVERPRICED for the services being rendered. The staff spends more time setting up the decorative dining room than they do caring for the patients. Note: Although their brochure says "snacks" are available 24/7 - there is never anything in the dining room on the snack counter. No fresh fruit. No cookies or baked goods. Not even coffee/tea/water. No way to identify who any worker is as no one wears ID/name tags.

Very understaffed. Constantly losing help. Very poor management. Not attentive to patient needs unless family complains and performing services that residents pay for. Very expensive for services.

We placed our dad there and found every employee we dealt with courteous, supportive and helpful. The food choices are amazing (menu is posted in the dining hall for all to see) and they offer a large variety of food choices. There are extra wide hallways, beauty/barber shop, and laundry is done separately for each resident (no marking clothes with a name). There is large sitting area with a gas fireplace in the lobby and another sitting room with a huge flat screen TV for families to gather. The decor/furnishings elegant.

DO NOT let your loved one stay at this facility! As soon as they get in their room they are asking for a check. All they feed their patients is noodles, noodles and more noodles. One day my Mother had noodles over bread. It was awful! She found out they over charged her and 5 months later they still havent given her the right amount refunded. When you try to call them, they are always at a "meeting."
