I am a friend or relative of a resident
This facility was a lovely place for my friend to spend her last few months. She loved her time there. She raved about the meals and the times that I had lunch with her I was also pleased with the food offerings. It was a great comfort to her to be able to attend Jewish services and to be around other Jewish people throughout the day who spoke Yiddish like she did. The holidays were really nice with traditional Jewish foods and Seders. Shabbat was great too. The staff was very friendly and about the same in quality of the other places I have been. Perhaps a bit better. There are always some exceptional people who truly care and then those who just do their job. My friends room was spacious and nicely appointed. The housekeeping kept it very neat. The common rooms were especially lovely. The dining room reminded me of an upscale hotel. The buildings are near a shopping district and a few easy to get to restaurants. Activities were standard and my friend wasn't too interested. She occassionally went to movie night but that was about it. The staff knew me after I visited so many times and always greeted me warmly and knew where my friend was when I arrived. If I needed a place for a family member I would certainly think about having them live here if my budget allowed.

Beverly Hills Carmel Retirement Hotel is a five star facility. Staying in this facility is like staying in a hotel. The staff members are cheerful, welcoming and full of energy. The facility is well decorated and clean. Loved ones are well taken care off. This facility is five out of five and I would hifgly recommend.

I should have brought my mother here a long time ago. We tried the more corporate places, but my mother feels happier here. The care is unmeasureable and the staff is great to work with. I am able to be her son, and enjoy our time, and not her doctor or medication nurse.
