I visited this facility
Atwater Village is an extremely nice facility. It is in a great location as well, close to Glendale Park in a nice area of Glendale.
There is a lot to do in the area, and my client constantly praises the staff for keeping things to do while inside of the facility. They always have some kind of activity going on - such as card / board games and crafts. Atwater has a street festival that my client went to recently as well; that is very close to the facility.
The inside of the facility was clean and well-kept, although the building exterior looked a bit older. The staff treated me very well during my visit also - asking if they could do anything for me multiple times.
I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in the North LA area.
This facility was sort of hard to find for some reason.
Other than that, it was a nice place and a small facility. I think they have no more than 60 residents.
Parking was very limited, and I don’t remember seeing many garden areas outside, but the building was painted a very nice color.
I thought the rooms were large for a small facility. I liked them. They have some semi-private rooms, but I thought they were pretty large.
I saw my client eating lunch. He said he did not like the food, but I don’t remember why he didn’t like it. I didn’t see anything wrong with it, but he said he didn’t like it.
The staff was not too friendly, but they weren’t too bad either. I’d give them about a 7 out of 10 for their service, including how they dealt with me and with my client.
They do have activities there.
