My great grandmother lived at this assisted living facility for several years until she passed away. It was great for her because of many reasons. The building had a nice grocery store on the bottom floor. This allowed her to feel like she had some independence because she was able to shop for her own groceries. It also prevented her from having to pay for a cab fair to get her to the grocery store downtown. The center also had a nice cafeteria that offered breakfast, lunch and dinner. If she did not feel like cooking she could always eat downstairs. Several activities were also held throughout the week to keep her occupied. She loved playing bingo with her friends every Friday night. The apartment that she lived in was very nice as well. It was the perfect size for her. She had her own bedroom, living room and kitchen. Her newspaper was delivered to her door everyday. She also had a nice laundry service.
