John M Reed Nursing Home & Eldereed Haus

There are 12 assisted living apts above the nursing home. Susan the activites director is great with the residents. She always has something planned to keep them busy. She planned a Fall Formal and took the ladies shopping at thrift stores to find a gown...had a DJ and dancing...It was family night and everyone had a great time!!!

They did not have the personnel. A couple of people I know her husband was in John Reed. They told me check it out, and I did, and I was impressed with the place. The people are very friendly, watching how they handle the patients. They seem to care of the patients. But they've been in the papers about abusive CNAs, and that kind of turned me off.
