Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell looked like a good alternative. I saw no real negatives there. It looks affordable. It looks like the meals and the facilities are relatively new. I met one of their people at 10:00 as planned. We went for a quick review through the facilities. She showed me the rooms and the eating location and the separation between the dementia patients and assisted living patients. Both areas were spotless, clean, and inviting with plenty of seating and open area for people to gather and discuss. They even have an outdoor sort of atrium for the memory care folks just to get outside. They can get outside but not wander off. Overall, I was pleased. That certainly is an option for us somewhere down the road. They went over the pricing and the pricing falls within the range of our long-term care insurance. It was sort of an idle period at that time. Some of the residents were just coming out for lunch and things of that nature, but as far as activity as such, nothing was going on. The host described the activities they have, things that you find in a convalescent home, some music programs and bingo, some exercise programs, and things like that. I was pleased with what I saw there. The staff during the tour was very nice. It's a very nice facility.

Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell was excellent. Desiree was very helpful, very accommodating, and very understanding. She was exceptional. We looked at a one-bedroom, and it was very nice. I liked that it was an apartment within a facility. It didn't seem like it was in a hospital. It was very homey. The dining room area was set up very nicely with menus and options. The activities seemed to be very engaging. They had some type of activity planned that day, so it was very well done.

I liked Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell. The rooms were great, and I was impressed. I saw a 1-bedroom and then a studio. There's an exercise machine, a small library, and everything you need. The staff were great, they need a raise. This place is high on my list.

My friend moved into Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell a few days ago. He has a dog and this facility allows him to keep his dog with him, so that sealed the deal. Today, they're going to play a movie, and that's the only thing that I'm aware of that he's participated in. We're still in the process of moving him. And so, he's up at his other residence quite a bit. But he's very pleased with this facility. His apartment has been freshly painted, so it was quite nice when he got in there. It's a little small, but there wasn't anything else available. In the near future, should something come up, we might be moving him. The staff is really awesome. They seem to be very caring. It doesn't matter who you talk to, if they're in maintenance or if they're in the kitchen or if they're nurses or behind the desk, just all of them get to know the people personally and call them by name and talk to them. They're going to put new flooring in the hallways. They did the dining room. When I first checked it out way back in April, I was not really impressed with it because the carpet was really bad in the dining room and in the entryway. As soon as the rest of it's done, it will probably look a lot nicer.

Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell was very clean and orderly, and everybody there looked happy and comfortable. I looked at a studio that they were in the middle of redoing. It was roomy, and it had all the amenities that someone would want in that situation. I think I would be very comfortable there. The place was very comfortable. It was like a well-kept home only for multiple people. All of their help there is probably A1. The dining area looked like an upper-class dining room. It was too upper-class, but it was very comfortable like a restaurant. I didn't see all of the amenities. However, the staff were very friendly, very warm and professional. Everything looked like it was kept up-to-date and immaculate.

We chose to have Mom at Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell, because they had availability. The people were also very friendly and helpful. It's a very beautiful place. They have a salon and a courtyard, but they only have a couple of activities. They just have bingo, a movie, and some crafts.

Other than it being very expensive, Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell is a wonderful place. I just don't know how any retired senior can afford it on their own unless they invested well in their youth and had a good retirement fund so not everyone can afford to be there. I am trying to find somewhere for my mother that I can afford because I can't afford the prices that they're charging. What I like the most about it is that they took good care of my mom and they were vigilant in watching her during the 2 weeks that she was there. They didn't confine her until they saw that she was kind of out of her element. She walked outside, she said that she had been talking to someone who worked there and said that I was outside waiting for her to pick her up and bring her home. That was just on the first day that I dropped her off so they wound up moving her to the memory care place where they have a locked door. I felt relieved that I knew that she wasn't going to try to escape or whatever, and be locked up. They kept good care of her, the food was good, the rooms were excellent when I looked at them. We just can't afford it. It cost me $3500 for her 2-week stay there and I don't know how anyone could afford that. If I wasn't so desperate for a vacation, I would not have paid that price. The employees were all great people and they all loved my mom. They always had activities like walking and, I guess, dancing and TV time too.

I think this facility may have been pretty good a couple of years ago, but since the pandemic and especially 2021, the place has gone down hill. This is what you will pay for if you have a family member there now: Pricey Assisted living prices, but it’s more like a poorly managed nursing home with all of their residents constantly on lockdown in their rooms 24/7. The residents get very little interaction and rarely can see family or leave the facility, unless they want to be constantly quarantined. Employees are poorly trained, oversight and quality control is not a priority, so you might get different information from day-to-day. You must request itemized statements and you will be overcharged for ridiculous things. It is clear that management lacks empathy for families going through this and you will not get any comfort or support when things go wrong. My heart goes out to the people there that have no family or friends advocating for their health and well-being in this place. Their corporate entity/owners need to do a complete overhaul on their management and policies and procedures. At this place and time, my rating is -1 star and I wouldn’t put my elderly dog in there. Every elderly adult deserves 5 Star care!

We visited Prestige Assisted Living. We liked it for my friend because she lives right across the street from it. It was also very nice, and everyone seemed to be very happy there. The apartment that we saw was very nice and really well set up for an elderly person. It was overall very nice and very welcoming. The little apartment that we looked at was very immaculate and very clean but homey. It wasn't sterile. Our first impression of the place was very nice. They took our temperatures at the door, so I just felt like my friend would be very safe there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, too. They gave us lots of information, and they were lovely.

My mom Marilyn was at Prestige from 9/2017 until May/2019. She had Parkinson's & had to have a lot of help. I spent a lot of time there. I loved it so much! It was wonderful for mom. I loved the staff so much, they were wonderful! It wasn't just a job for them, they love the residents so much. They always interacted with mom,me & they were always willing to help her with any of her needs! The Admin staff was so willing to address any need I had. She had a nice big room, it was great! Had a nice bathroom/lg walk in shower, mini kitchen & 2 closets. The activities director, Laurie is the best! She always tries to get the residents involved. They offer a lot of activities...bingo, music guests, life story each month, crafts, trivia, resident input meetings, outings & much more!! They also take residents to appointments. The kitchen staff was always willing to meet the residents needs. They always decorate for holidays. When mom was on hospice & ready to pass, they were so accommodating to our family & let us spend as much time as we needed with her. This home is not just a home, it is a family & they do their best to make you part of it. I cannot tell you how much I love this home!!

Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell is not near up to the class of the other community because it is an older place. The place was nice, and the dining area was OK. Nothing about it was bad, but it wasn't as quality as the other community. They did have a TV room area, and you could do activities in the dining area, but I didn't see anything more. However, the staff was very good.

We used Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell for my wife for 17-day respite care. They did a good job, and we will probably use them again. We thought that it was very good. It was a little older, but the care and counseling my wife got were superb. They're well-staffed with people who are trained in dealing with not just those needing assisted living but also memory care. I have nothing negative to say about them. They kept me posted on issues and did a timeline for me. The facility, food, and the quality of knowledge of the caregivers were excellent.

We have already selected Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell. It's fabulous. We're really impressed with it. The staff is wonderful. They have been really great to us as far as showing us around, giving us any information we need, and letting us come back and look again. I'm really pleased with it. It is the only one that was in Kalispell and it is near where I live, so it is absolutely perfect for my father. The menu looks great, the dining room is beautiful, and everything looks clean. As we walked around, everybody came and introduced themselves and talked to Dad; it was really nice.

I have placed my friend into Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell. It's superb as far as I'm concerned. It's well put-together, and it's really thought out. They have a super dining area that is nice to look at as well as to sit around. My friend is happy there. He said that everything is going well. They serve all 3 meals, and he is happy with his room. The staff members are pretty attentive too.

Prestige was second on our list. It had a clean, nice environment, but it was like a box. The staff was friendly, informative, and cordial. However, Dad would be confused living in memory care and not being a part of the assisted living.

I visited this facility last year. From the moment I walked through the front door and was pleasantly greeted to receiving the brochures and information I was ready to place my loved one there when the time comes. The staff, the cleanliness, and satisfied residents convinced me this is the place to go. G.G.

We chose Prestige for my mom since it had good recommendations from friends and had everything she likes. The place is really nice and clean. The staff seems friendly. It’s smaller than some other places, which is a benefit for my mom.

Prestige was just two floors, clean, and had a lot of people. I liked and recommend it. I liked that they had the memory care on the premises and that their staff to patient ratio was very good.

My father has been living at Prestige for over a year. He is treated with respect, friendliness and a wonderful sense of humor. The individual concern and care for each resident goes above and beyond. The first summer he was there, the lands keeper surprised him by mowing a putting green, complete with a little lawn flag and sunken red solo cup for Dad to practice his putting. Being aware of our father's background in elementary education and his connection with children, they are sure give him an interacting role with children when they come to visit Prestige. It is comforting knowing our father is in a lovely place where he is loved and cared for like family.

Mom was in Prestige Assisted Living for Alzheimer's care. It was much smaller; there were only 12 or 16 people in the facility. I wasn’t with her a lot because it was a 4-hour drive from here, so I got to see her once a month for an afternoon. I don’t want to say anything bad about Prestige because it might be fine for some people. It just wasn’t perfect for my mom.

All assisted living homes I have visited in Kalispell are extremely nice and well-kept. The staff and owner seem to enjoy their job and the residents were very friendly, talkative, and seemed to be satisfied. I think this is because of the very modern feel these homes had. Things were tidy, enjoyable, and relaxing.
