I visited this facility

The Rayford-Jane House in Jefferson City was in the same vicinity where we were visiting the area to look at possible places for our uncle to live in. We liked that there was a hospital less than a mile away, since our uncle has some heart issues he is dealing with.

The facility looked like it was well tended – the grounds were neat. The interior had a nice décor – but nothing outstanding.

The rooms were nicely kept and decorated. The staff was friendly and attended to all of the residents well. The dining options seemed decent, but we did not try any of the food.

There weren’t as many communal rooms as we’ve been seeing at other facilities. The spaces we did see seemed to suit their purposes well. For example, there were rooms for TV and reading.

The activities offered were a bit limited, as most of the residents are not completely ambulatory. However, every effort is made to take those out who can manage well enough; even those in wheelchairs.

As a senior living residence for those with long term care needs - they also offer full time rehabilitation. This is good to know for when our uncle’s needs change, however at this point he is ambulatory and can function on his own. For this reason, we will continue to explore other options for our uncle at this time.
