I visited this facility
Carriage Club in Jacksonville, Florida is an excellent independent and assisted living community. I really enjoyed my tour. I was impressed with the amenities. There is a formal dining room, activity rooms, exercise room, heated pool, a salon, pharmacy, bank and chapel. The grounds are wonderful with several paths and seating areas. There is also a beautiful stocked pond with a pier that allows fishing. I liked sitting on the pier during my tour. It was very pleasant. The units are also gorgeous. They are clean, large and have nice views of the grounds. This is a facility that I would highly recommend.

My parents live in the Independent Living side and have received excellent care. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The facility is well maintained and has been wonderful since I am 2500 miles away. I can call anytime and get information or help.
I visited this facility
The assisted living area was like a ghost town. Very quiet- almost like a hotel setting. The nurses at the "station" very nice and friendly. The only action was lunch time when the folks who could, headed downstairs for lunch. This was on a weekday mid week. No camaraderie or activities in sight.
