Katie's Place

My grandmother was staying at Katie's Place until her recent passing. I found the staff to be a bit inattentive but the living facilities seemed to be in working order. The lawns were well trimmed and the rooms seemed to be kept at a good, but not great level of cleanliness. The tenants seemed to be happy for the most part, I have witnessed tenants get into fights with the staff, but most of them were over trivial matters that were blown far out of proportion. I've spoken with the doctors and nurses on the scene, and they seemed to be knowledgeable enough. The food served at the facilities was mediocre at best. It seemed to be mostly just the average frozen food staples that you see in most places. If I were asked to recommend putting a loved one in the facility, I'm not really sure what I would say. I have no reason to really discourage people putting loved ones there, but I also have very little motive to encourage them, either. Overall, Katie's Place is a middle of the road choice.
