My Mom lived here during the last years of her life. She loved it. Not all rooms are doubles, Mom lived in a single. The furniture was from her own home and decorated with things from her home, so I'm not sure why the above commenter said it was like a hospital room. The staff was the greatest when it came to Mom and in dealing with me, her health Power of Attorney.

My good friend is staying at the Crown Court recovering from a foot amputation. The staff was very friendly and when I arrived I was greeted by the customer service desk person and I was greeted in the hallway on the way to his room. They have a very large eating area with round tables for socializing, which is the best part of the day for many residents. They have several choices to pick from for each meal and you can choose to eat in the dining area or eat in your room. Unfortunately, there are two people to a room so my friend has little privacy. Another drawback to this facility is that the rooms look too much like hospital rooms. They would make the residents much more comfortable if they made the rooms look more homey. The television sets are too small for older people to watch in my opinion, and my friend was never able to watch television for that very reason. Since there are two beds per room, I would suggest a dividing wall or a petition to give the residents more privacy.
