Sparrow Assisted Living

Sparrow assisted living was a great place for my uncle to recover in. The facility had many great amenities and the overall quality of service was good. The food, according to my uncle was good and hearty. My uncle had a very nice room with a view of a garden and loved to read a few novels on his patio in the morning. The staff were very friendly and the nurses took good care of my uncle and made sure that his needs were accounted for. The facility was well appointed and had a gym and a large dinning hall for guests and family members to eat with their loved ones. The facility in located in a good neighborhood and the area was well maintained. Overall my uncles stay was enjoyable and I would recommend this facility for whoever needs quality care and a safe and secure environment for their loved ones.

The Sparrow Assisted Living facility in Houston is a home-style senior community with a friendly atmosphere. The residents we saw looked very content and well cared for during our visit.

As we walked through the building, we could smell fresh flowers and see how the light worked to make the environment fresh, bright and cheerful. The overall interior design was easy to navigate. The rooms all had nice views.

The backyard had many walkways, gardens and a courtyard for seniors to enjoy easily and safely. There was also plenty of shrubs, trees and lawn to provide a peaceful and beautiful natural environment.

The private rooms were tasteful and homey, with plenty of air and light. Units all had beautiful views. Bathrooms were designed safely with rails and seats.

The fitness center includes a number of options for the seniors, from daily yoga to aerobics exercise classes. They also offer instruction on DVD.

The eating areas had a comfortable decor with very nice furnishings. The seniors enjoy home-style meals in both casual and formal restaurant settings. The residents may also book the formal dining room for private parties. The food looked, smelled and tasted delicious, as well as being nutritious. The menus had many good dishes. They serve and offer snacks regularly and whenever residents request them.

The event calendar included many activities such as fun ways to exercise as well as enjoy all of the culture that Houston has to offer.

The residents all looked very well taken care and seemed very content with the kind and caring staff in this stimulating and peaceful living environment.
