Because caring for seniors with dementia takes special expertise, families often will choose a memory support assisted living community slightly further away than they would be willing to travel for traditional assisted living. I am a friend or relative of a resident
This community is one that stands heads and shoulders above the rest. The associates always have a smiling face on when I walk into the community, no matter what time or day it is. This is a community that specifically is dedicasted to serving persons with Alzheimer's Disease and other types of dementia. The community is in the Metro West area of Massachusetts and stands out above all of its competition.The community has a strong partnership with Boston University School of Medicine and the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. This has allowed them to create programming and truly treat the symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease, something that is normally lacking in any type of Alzheimer's Assisted Living environment.It also incorporates at Memory Preservation Nutrition Program which treats people from a diet and holistic perspective of this disease process as well.
