I had my mother stay in Emeritus at Hoffman Estates because of the affordable price and homely ambiance. The staff were efficient and friendly. My mom was in a shared room. The food was very good. They had different activities like cards and crafts. My mom was happy in the facility.

Emeritus is a very nice place to live. The staff are really pleasant and the facilities are well maintained.
I visited this facility
I was able to visit Emeritus in Hoffman Estates in the summer of 2009. The assisted living community is very nice. I will say that the location is great. It is close enough to Chicago and all the northwest suburbs, that it is very accessible. The facility and the grounds are all well maintained. There are 1 and 2 bedroom studios available. There are wonderful community areas, including: a community room, an exercise room, activity room and formal dining room. All the Emeritus facilities have very well designed communities and they include these wonderful amenities. I would recommend this assisted living community.
