I visited this facility
When I entered the lobby I was immediately greeted by staff with a warm smile and handshake. The staff was friendly and seems to be well educated. They were very engaging to the residents and seem to have an amazing repour. The residents were bright, alert and seem to really enjoy the staff and were genuinely happy to see them when they engaged them. The residents were active, and engaged in activities, such as Bingo, Movies, Board Games, Arts and Crafts, Exercise classes and much more. Your loved one will not become disengaged or isolated here. Daily there is staff that checks on all residents throughout the day each shift. There is a shuttle to take residents to shop, attend events and attend doctor’s appointments. The grounds are simply lovely and have nice seating areas for visitation and relaxation. The dining here is 2nd to none. The menu is well planned with healthy choices and options. The facility is not new but is well kept, maintained moderenly decorated. It is clear that the building is well designed and kept is good repair. The common areas are well maintained and the apartments are good size and nicely decorated. Your loved one will be well looked after here and will be part of a welcoming community. I would place my loved one here.
Visited this facility
I entered this facility at lunch time and was immediately greeted by the Community Manager. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and it was clear that he had been there many years. While we toured, he warmly hugged the residents and called each one by name. I especially liked the outdoor area and the charm that it offered. It is not a new building, but I could see recent renovations, and was told that there were more to come. While we toured, a little poodle ran loose through the halls which I thought was funny. He apparently knew this poodle and the resident it belonged to. He politely excused himself to run after it, and assured the resident he would return him safely...which he did. I liked the idea of allowing pets, and it was impressive to see the staff all join in to help gather this one and bring him back safely. The resident's doors were all decorated sweetly, and I liked to overall look and feel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I felt that my loved one would be safe and cared for.
