I am a friend or relative of resident
My mother is a resident in the memory care unit of Carriage House. I am so pleased with the care she receives. The caregivers are affectionate & friendly. I am always informed of any health issues & any questions concerning treatment or care are quickly answered. The memory care unit is bright & cheerful. Residents are moved through activities to stimulate & retain their abilities. I would recommend this home to anyone!
I visited this facility
This facility is well placed and the grounds are very well kept upon pulling into the driveway. I spoke to the lady at the receptionist's desk and she was very pleasant in fact she didn't stop smiling. She eerily reminded me of the "Joker" in the movie "Batman".
They offered me a booklet with floor plans and a tour of the facility so I took it. They did ask me why I was there so I told them I had a family member that I thought belong there which was not a lie at all.
My guide showed me around and told me that they have events like cookouts and that they go bowling, etc so needless to say, I was very impressed. Every time I walked passed a worker, they would greet me which was a big plus in my book.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this facility. The staff knows their job and they put the guests first.
