We are in the process of getting my mom into a group home called Atlantis II Assisted Living. I filled out the paperwork from the facility and talked to the lady who runs the home. It feels like my mom's going home. They have a maximum of 9 or 10 residents living there. It's more like she's going to a home where people will take care of her better. It's not an institution. It's a home. She'll have her own room. She'll be sharing a bathroom with another person or two. It's clean and it's organized. It sounds like she will be on the schedule and have things to do instead of just sitting at home doing nothing. The staff person said she feels like every person that she takes care of is like her own mom. She is just really friendly and caring. They have different guided activities on different days. They have exercise programs where they sit in the chair and do different exercises. They have seated exercise programs, games, and puzzles. I think she'll enjoy as much as she can do. The staff was just really friendly and caring.

My mother was a resident of Atlantis II for nearly 5yrs. During this time, Maria(owner) and her staff treated my mom with such thoughtful care. My mother’s dementia and healthcare needs were addressed on a consistent basis, Maria kept me informed of my mother’s health. Her medications were provided to her on a daily basis. The home and my mother’s room were very comfortable and kept very neat and exceptionally clean. My mother’s hygiene and appearance were kept up on a daily basis. The food was excellent, my mother was able to gain weight while a resident at Atlantis II. Above all else, my mother was treated with respect and dignity. I am so grateful to Maria and her staff for treating my mother with so much love. Maria and her wonderful staff have been a blessing to my mother and my family.

Maria and her staff were so wonderful in caring for my mother. Living in NC, I was concerned about her care especially, since my mother had Alzheimer's and needed special care. When calling the home, I was always delighted with receiving updates and when my mother did not want to speak on the telephone, Maria and her staff assured me how my mother was doing. When my mother passed,Maria and her staff were very kind and respectful I am so happy my mother was under Maria's care. She treated my mother as a person and was very kind to her.

July 16, 2016 My mother, Rose, was a resident at Atlantis II for almost four years. During that time, she received outstanding care from Maria, the owner of the home, and her professional, caring staff. They took care of my mother’s physical and emotional needs with the utmost expertise, respect, and kindness. My mother’s physical appearance was always neat and clean. Also, her room and the entire house were kept clean, bright, and pleasant. In addition, the home-cooked meals were delicious and tailored to each resident’s dietary needs. My mother’s medications and medical needs were well monitored and managed. Maria and her staff communicated with me constantly about my mother, and they made me feel like a partner in my mother’s care. Most of all, Maria and her staff created a loving home for all the residents. My mother was truly treated like family at Atlantis II, and she was happy living there. I am so thankful that my mother lived at Atlantis II because Maria and her staff treated my mother with such dignity, love, and respect. Atlantis Adult Care Home is in the beautiful Palm Valley-Good Year Area!   Prior to entering the front door there is a sitting area that is very cute, cozy, and secured for residents who would like to enjoy the outdoors! The home owner has been very pleasant since the first day we met. She built this home with the thought of making sure her residents were comfortable! The living room is set up very comfortable with recliners in every seat of the couch. Atlantis is always vey clean and always smells very fresh. Staff is always professionally uniformed and very pleasant. Owner provides beautician services for her residents on a regular. She shows great compassion to all her residents at all times! Her home is beautifully designed and ran! She provides all levels of care. Ideally this a home is for more active seniors that can socialize and enjoy the amenities, but anyone's loved one would enjoy Atlantis Care Home. This house is designed with more private rooms than semi private. She has built her home on all word of mouth clients, which amazes me.
