Magnolia Assisted Living is a newly built assisted living facility that more closely resembles an upscale hotel than any hospital or retirement home. It has a comfortable family room with large windows, fireplace and big screen TV, a cozy but elegant dining room with a private room for dining guests, a library with many books, a recreational room for exercise and activities, and a small but delightful courtyard patio with a fountain, plants, arbor and rocking chairs. The food served in the dining room is very good and the scheduled menu offers an assortment of local fare. My husbands grandmother often comments on how good the food is, and also the great desserts. The staff are very personable and my husband's grandmother often feels pampered and well attended to. The staff is always close by and are very familiar with the needs and desires of each resident. The facility also offers family events for holidays such as Christmas and Easter and offers many field trips for the residents. Overall we have been very pleased with this facility.
