Mitchell-Hollingsworth

Mitchell-Hollingsworth is overall a pretty good assisted living facility. While working and volunteering there I would say the overall experience was great. It seemed as though the residents enjoyed the facilities and services provided. Family members of the residents also always seemed pleased with the facility. The way things are organized at Mitchell-Hollingsworth is fairly well. There are plenty of activities for the members to take place in as well as several laid back socializing areas where residents can meet and speak with their friends and family. It does not seem as a hospital as some facilities do. There is a nice homey feel to Mitchell-Hollingsworth. It is also located in a historic part of Florence so when people go to visit family members they are treated to some historic scenery around Mitchell-Hollingsworth. If I ever had to have a family member in an assisted living facility, Mitchell-Hollingsworth would definitely be a top choice of mine.

I love going to Mitchell Hollingsworth! This nursing home is one of the best. I have always loved to go to this nursing home and play the piano in front of the elderly. All of the staff are extremely nice to the patients. They always are very courteous to the patients, and I feel as if they are really there for them. I always hear positive things about it from my friends who have also visited there. The cafeteria is very clean, and is always stocked with the best food. I feel that the patients are very well fed. I rooms are very large, and well furnished. Almost all of the patients have television their rooms where they stay most of the day to watch T.V. There are to or three beds in most of the rooms, and all of the patients have company almost all of the time. I feel that they are truly cared for at this facility. I also believe that the patients feel at home at this facility, because that is the sign of a really good nursing facility, that the patients feel right at home.
