Lone Oak Assisted Living Facility

I love the design of this building, everything about it seems so peaceful and "homey," I love that it is white because it really pops against the green of the trees, grass, and other greenery as well as all of the colors of the flowers. They built this little look-out area at the very top which is probably my favorite part of the facility. The interior is very simple and warm, it is so welcoming and I love that it feels so comfortable. It is spacious enough for residents to move about freely but not so large that it is easy to become lost, I have been in facilities like that, facilities that are so large yet all of the hallways and common rooms look exactly the same so the facility becomes sort of like a maze that you have to try to navigate your way through.

The residents in this facility all seem very well cared for, they always appear clean, well-fed, they are always lucid and not over medicated. They always seem to be for the most part healthy, active, and independent. They always fill me in on all of the fun activities that they have participated in since my last visit as they are always full of stories about stuff happening around the facility, stories about the good and funny stuff that has happened as there is very rarely a concerning story to tell. The activity department at Lone Oak is on top of their game as far as introducing the residents to exciting and creative activities, field trips, celebrations, entertainment, and such. I have never had one of the residents complain about dull or uninteresting activities or complain about the activities always being the same or never changing.

Another amazing aspect of Lone Oak is the staff members that are there caring for the residents day in and day out. They are some of the sweetest, most patient, encouraging, and caring people when they are assisting the residents. They know each resident so well and they are always around waiting to greet the residents with friendly smiles and hugs. Another thing that I have noticed about resident care in this facility is that they really seem to dot their i's and cross their t's when it comes to keeping each residents care and needs straight. They seem to have a good system going on in keeping things organized which is great because that leads to fewer slip-ups and a huge decrease in the possibility of serious mistakes, such as medication and dietary needs errors.

Lone Oak Is an awesome facility and I would feel blessed to have my own relatives being cared for by the staff members in this facility. I have had so many families tell me about how thankful they are knowing that there loved ones are receiving the best quality of care in such a fabulous facility. They always tell me that they could never have asked for better and feel so lucky to have found Lone Oak.
