This facility is gorgeous, the landscaping is always perfect with the green, green grass, flowers, shade trees, etc. There are many places outside for the residents to sit and relax or to take little nature walks. They are able to explore the outdoors as they please all the while remaining in a safe and secure area. It rains A LOT, but the residents try to take advantage of being outside whenever the weather permits.
Inside the facility is just as beautiful. I love the colors they chose for the design, the exterior and interior is white and then they splash purple throughout the facility in the furniture, artwork, it's in the carpet. It is really beautiful. The whole facility is so open and bright. There is one wall in the facility that has these amazing floor to ceiling windows. The view is very pretty and relaxing, especially in the winter when it's snowing. I always see so many residents just standing there looking out, I even catch myself doing it sometimes! Those windows and that view have a way of taking you out of the moment and just freezing time for a few seconds.
Alpine Springs is an Emeritus facility which in most cases is a good thing, Emeritus follows many philosophies that I think are excellent in the world of senior living communities. They also offer the residents a wide variety of amenities, services, programs, and activities that they can participate in which helps keep them active and busy. Every time I visit I see new activities on the schedule that I have never seen before, the Activity Director in this building is a very creative and fun person. They are always coming up with so many exciting things for the residents to experience. They residents here love to party, and it seems like they are always celebrating some fun thing, whether it's birthdays, holidays, theme days, whatever the occasion may be, they know how to have fun and make it a great time! They especially love the events, activities, and entertainment which involves music.
Alpine Springs is a great place to visit, and from what I gather, an even greater place to live. The residents and their families always comment about how wonderful the care is, how amazing the food, how awesome the facility. I have heard 100 times more compliments than complaints and I think that makes this a facility worth checking out.
