Diamond Willow Assisted Living - Proctor

We had a very positive experience with Diamond Willow. The staff was always very helpful and kept my grandparents as happy as possible. Both buildings had very nice areas for large families to get together and visit, which we made use of. They often threw holiday parties where everyone was invited, it seemed like everyone was having a good time and there was plenty of food.My grandfather did not seem the happiest here, but he was housed in a building for alzheimer's patients so that he could stay with my grandma. The lack of sane people to talk to seemed to affect him after a short time. Once he moved to the larger building, things went much better. Initial placement could have been better, but I believe it was a choice made by the family. Overall, I was always happy with what I saw at Diamond Willow. It made a hard situation tolerable for a few years.
