Core Health Care is an incredibly warm and inviting assisted living facility out in Dripping Springs, TX. From the moment you walk in you can tell it's the type of place where the employees truly care about the residents and the atmosphere caters to a comfortable, relaxing environment. Near the entrance is a large congregation area that is very sociable and nicely decorated. We went here for a class day-trip to visit senior citizens and present them with poems we had written. The interaction between the staff and the residents was very easy-going and smooth, they all had certain individuals that they "trusted" and would help them from room to room and also help with introductions to us. Not sure if the food they had was catered or cooked there in the kitchen, but it was well-prepared and tasty. The facility is a good size, and there seems to be at least 40-50 residents out talking with each other, playing games, or visiting with family at any given time. Seems to be a great place for any senior citizen in the Hill Country of south Austin in need of assisted living care.
