Park Village Assisted Living

My Grandmother lives with my parents and chose to stay at Park Village while my parents took an extended trip during the winter. Park Village provided the temporary, low-level of care my Grandmother required. Her room was very quiet and overlooked a field and some trees. The kitchenette was very nice to have. We brought her treats from home and she could treat us to a cup of coffee while we chatted. My Grandmother use the hairdresser while she was there and participated in a few activities. Her only complaint was the food; she said it was bland and not hot enough.

In my opinion, the staff at Park Village is fantastic. They are more than willing to help make the residents stay a comfortable one. Nurses were always smiling, friendly, and upbeat. The meals are also top notch, and there is even a menu for the residents to choose from so that they don't get bored with the same food week in and week out. The outside surroundings of the building are very inviting. There is plenty of green space outside to soak up the sun. As far as indoor entertainment goes, there were weekly bingo games as well as many other activites during the week, at which the residents could congregate and mingle. One of the major perks of living at Park Village has to be it's proximity to Union Hospital, which is located within literally 500 yards of the grounds. Personally, the hospital being so close was a relief for our family. If you have an aging loved one, and are in the Tuscarawas County area in need of assisted living, I highly recommend Park Village. It was a more than satisfying experience for my family, and myself.

The facility was very well kept. the rooms were comfortable. the staff was very attentive to the needs of the people staying there and also to visitors. My Aunt commented that the food was very good. and visitors could also have a meal if they wished. they had many activities and trips planned for the residents. at least once a week they had entertainment. they also provided church services.
