Emeritus at Roslyn

Emeritus seem very nice and very, very small. They were very nice people, the director and the admissions. No complaints about them at all. I checked the size of the units. Some of them are big and some of them are relatively small.

From the moment you enter the lobby you are welcomed with open arms at Emeritus at Roslyn. There is no senior here that could possible feel alone or isolated. The staff is professional yet warm and friendly. The facility is magnificent clean and well decorated very modern. The residents are lively and alert. There was a group returning from an outing and another group headed out to a concert. The dining hall is 5 stars with a menu that makes you want to eat their daily. The menu is well planned and has many options that are healthy. The rooms are amazingly decorated and very warm with cozy touches. Each nurse on duty is attentive and there is a larger than average ratio of nurses to residents. Anything your loved one needs will be taken care of. No need to worry here they will be well cared for. Each resident I spoke with said they love living here and that the staff is wonderful. Your loved own will feel safe and secure here. I would place my loved one here. The grounds are well maintained and leave you feeling at peace. I would place my loved one here. Simply a wonderful facility runs by compassionate caring staff.

Having the nursing staff communicate with resident's family is like pulling teeth - very difficult. They should be asking for approvals for meds (like shots) from POA when resident confused.
