Putnam Farm at Danvers

Putnam Farm has a good feel to it. It feels homey, it's clean and the staff seems great. We're really happy with how everything is going so far. My father-in-law's been there for about three weeks now. And so far everything's been wonderful.

My grandmother is staying in this facility, she suffered a stroke and now must have assisted living care. The facilities were very cleanly, a detail which I would definitely have noticed. The nurses that I encountered were very friendly and seemed like they thoroughly enjoyed their jobs, helping the people who live here. It was also a friendly environment for visitors, nobody seemed like they minded us hanging around, even with my younger brothers who can get kind of hyper and obnoxious. The grounds and building were also very beautiful, with plenty of area to take my grandmother for a walk despite the fact that she is wheelchair bound. All in all I would say this is an excellent rehab/assisted living facility with very high quality care delivered by an extremely professional team. Grounds inside and and outside of the buildings are spectacular, and while I don't have much experiance with a lot of other assisted living facilities, I would guess that this is one of the best of its kind in the local area.

Putnam Farm assisted living facility is located in Danvers, MA. I visit this facility at least once a week. I am not employed by the facility. The nursing homecare agency I work for sends me regularly to the facility to provide nursing care to several clients. Putnam Farm is located on a hill in a very quiet part of Danvers. The facility is built in a country style and it is very clean and spacious. The security of the facility is also great. The doors are usually locked and visitors are required to buzz the door and sign in and out. Residents usually have their own apartments. Staff is available 24 hours to assist residents with tasks such as bathing, feeding and dressing. There are several entertainment rooms where staff or relatives engage residents in several recreational activities. There is also a large dining room where healthy balanced meals are served on a regular basis. There are several nurses employed by the facility to help monitor clients health. Hunts health Center and Massachusetts General hospital- Danvers are located ten minutes away from Putnam Farm.
