This is a very nice place, especially if you have a relative who is comfortable socializing with others. They made some major improvements to this facility in recent years and it's extra nice now.

The staff tries to accommodate a wide range of residents. I thought their food was really good -- I ate there with my mom on a number of occasions. She lived there for over one year.

I thought Vickey Towers provided above average nursing help to those that needed it -- although it might help if they hired a few more workers for some shifts.

If they are still offering to let people "try it out" for a short stay, like over a weekend, try to take advantage of that opportunity. My mom began to like the place while visiting there on a "trial" basis.

The only negative: One or two high-up administrative officers were lacking in their interpersonal skills.

They were not always very sensitive to some issues.

Fortunately, the staff members your loved one will interact with are usually very pleasant.
