I visited this facility
I was highly impressed with Silverado in Dallas. They had easily-accessible bathtubs for my client to get in and out of without having to raise his feet to keep him from falling. He was also in a great program called "Dementia Care" that helped him with his memory - and a detox / veggie diet that helped him to regain his strength that had lost during his work.
It was a large facility, but there were less than 100 people there. It was a perfect amount of people to have social activities - but not overcrowded to where the staff could not keep up with who is who by memory. Silverado was more like a custom-home apartment complex for the elderly than the "generic nursing home" structure.
I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in the Dallas area who is looking for senior care assisted living.
