I like that Baldwin House Senior Living Lakeside was very clean. I like the friendly staff. I was impressed overall. They showed me a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, stove, refrigerator, and walk-in shower. The appliances were there. No dishwasher though.

I liked the layout of Baldwin House Senior Living Lakeside. I thought the rooms, especially the two-bedrooms, were very spacious. I thought the one bedroom was quite small, but then that's to be expected. I also like that they had it with one bathroom. All the other ones and the more expensive ones have two bathrooms. The dining area was very, very nice. They have a library there and they have a community room. Everything was very nice and clean. While I was touring, nothing was going on in any of them. They were vacant. People were out doing their business, but it wasn't very busy. The facility costs much less, about half as much money as those other places, but of course, the other places give you a lot more amenities, too, but I'm not dependent, so I don't need all that stuff either. I only met the woman who normally greets people and shows them around, and she had a meeting to go to, but she took enough time with me to give me some information that I might need further on for other things, like downsizing my home, getting somebody to look on my property, gave me some paper information, and numbers I could call that she could recommend that were honest and helpful. Then the other young lady was there and she took me around because the other lady had meetings to go to. So she was gracious and took me to see three different properties in that building. So, that was very helpful. Everything looked spick and span to me. All the places were set. So it was very pretty.

I went to Baldwin House Senior Living Lakeside. When I got there, there was a bunch of seniors sitting around in what they call the living room. They were just sitting there and enjoying the fire and the music. They have one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms. The one-bedrooms were quite small, and these were empty apartments. The two-bedroom would be the best thing for me, but I would have a problem with the doorway with my wheelchair, so that was a big issue for a wheelchair-bound person. Some of the two-bedrooms have balconies or patios. They have an activity room on the second floor. It's a nice facility. They were setting up to celebrate one of their birthday parties for one of their seniors who has turned 100 years old, and I thought that was really, really sweet. It was really nice. The staff was nice.

I visited Baldwin House Senior Living Lakeside and had an excellent tour. The girl that gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and told us many things we did not know about and had the answers for everything. The facility was quite new and it had very bright colors, light colors, like neutrals. It was very pleasing to the eye. Everybody's very friendly.

Baldwin House Senior Living Lakeside has very nice and clean-looking apartments. I like the balcony, the view, and the way the community center is set up. The people working there were very friendly and answered all my questions. Anything that my brother could need would be made available, such as transportation or certain care. I think the patio and outdoors were nicely set up for leisure activities. The laundry room was nice.

We didn't care for the Baldwin House Senior Living Lakeside at all. The rooms were small. A person from our church was there, we asked for the room number, but they wouldn't give it to us. We saw her in the hall, and that's how we got to talk to her, but it was just kind of different. The staff who took us around was nice.

Baldwin House Lakeside is clean and friendly. The rooms are very nice, spacious, clean, and bright. The staff members are caring and nice. They offer meals, laundry, and housekeeping. There's a medical team on staff, and they offer activities for the seniors as well. They have a little library, a chapel, and an activity room. My mom eats the food, and she likes it. They have good offerings of food. It's reasonably priced considering how expensive it can be.

We decided on Baldwin House Senior Living Lakeside (Lakeside) for my mom. One of the main things was that they had an open dining room, and they had 24/7 medical staff on site. The staff was friendly, it was clean, and it was very similar to the apartment she has now. I've had three tours there, with different family members, and they were very accommodating with their scheduling and the tours. They seem to have a lot for them to do, and they check on the residents. They had a salon, a workout room, an activity room, and all types of things. It was closer to me than where she currently is, and that was between my sister and me, between the two of us.

It is lower-priced, clean, and definitely adequate. It's just that the quality of the structure itself was not as nice as the facility we went with, but for the price, it was perfect. The staff was very friendly.

Its apartments were a good size. They had a library and a gym where people could go and exercise. They also had a nice dining area. The food wasn't super good, but it was OK. The place was clean.

It was a little smaller than the other facility, but the rooms were nice. They were big and they had a little kitchen area. The location was convenient. The dining area was nice and roomy.

We chose it for my mom, and she will be moving in the place soon. The staff was very friendly, and the place was incredibly clean. We were very impressed. We have been treated very well. They are helping us to make it a smooth transition for my mom because it was a hard thing. Overall, we were very pleased.

My grandma used to live here. It was great. We loved it. The rooms were very nice. I would not mind living there. They had a lot of activities, and my grandma did a lot there. They had bingo and shopping, and they had daily activities. I would recommend them because I felt my grandma was well cared for every time we went to visit. She was happy there.

It was nice, clean, and affordable. The apartments were nice -- 1-bedroom and real nice brown carpet, perfect size for a single person. It has a nice kitchen and cabinets; I was impressed. The staff was nice, and the dining setup was nice too. Security is basic, and it feels secured. They have bingo, exercise, movie nights, cards, and horse races.

It seemed homier, caring, and more comfortable than the others we’ve seen. The staff is very friendly. The apartment was nice -- very well setup -- and I think mother is going to be very happy there. The dining hall was very clean and very nice.

It was nice, and the rooms seemed spacious. The lady who took us on a tour gave us a lot of information and resources which I thought was valuable. The residents were communicating with us as well, but the staff was not accommodating at the time of our visit.

It was very nice. It was very good. Everything was attractive and very well laid out. They had pretty much anything you would want in terms of activities. The staff was very nice and very accommodating. We looked at their one-bedroom unit that has a little kitchenette.

It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. I liked their security. They had medical staff for when there are things that need to be addressed. The rooms were very clean, up to date, pleasant, and roomy. The food was excellent with lots of variety. They had lots of activities which were age appropriate. They had bingo, musicals, radio day shows, and things from their past. They also had outings.

My mother could no longer manage her own home, but she is still fairly independent and even does her own laundry. It offers independent living where each of the resident has their own apartment. They receive meals down in the dining room three times a day. If their needs increase, they can hire additional services. They have a bus that takes them out to Meijer's once a week, so she can pick up what stuff she needs. It's also close to my home, so I can get over there a lot. She's in a 2-bedroom apartment with handicapped equipped bathroom, and all the hallways are wide. They can socialize and there's always a group in the lobby just talking or another group that's watching TV. They had a family Halloween party. All the families were invited to come over for dinner. They had entertainment. A guy played a guitar with old music that they would recognize, and he took turns dancing with all the ladies. Everybody had a great time, it was wonderful. The food is supposed to be all homemade, and they welcome family members to come and eat there if they want to. If the residents don't happen to like the two specials for the day, they can always order off a regular menu. They staff is very accommodating and they know everybody. They will call me immediately about any concern. I have no problems at all and I would recommend them. We're really happy with our choice. They have pet therapy comes in, nursing students from the local school comes in and check blood pressure once a week, and there's a visiting physician every Wednesday. They take a couple of nice trips every month. They keep them active and interested in things.
