Peregrine's Landing Senior Community, Cheektowaga

Peregrine's Landing is a wonderful Assisted Living community. The campus is so very lovely, there is so much space for the residents to move about freely, indoors and out. The grounds and landscaping are very beautiful and meticulous - every time I visit everything just looks so nice - so organized and orderly. One of my favorite areas of the community is the patio - it is so nice and comfortable and I just love seeing the residents out on the patio socializing - it reminds me of my grandparent's house - my grandparent's sitting out on their porch with friends and chatting away for hours and hours. That is one of my favorite childhood memories and for some reason when I see the residents sitting out on the facility's porch talking and laughing with one another it always reminds me of that and it makes the facility seem that much more welcoming and it gives it this warmth and comforting feeling.

The residents all seem to really enjoy their lives in the community. I have had so many of the residents tell me that they just love living in the facility - they say that they have so much fun and they really thoroughly enjoy all of the activities and social events and such that they frequently have throughout the community. They also really love the special outings they go on - they say they always go to the most exciting and interesting places, but that even if they are just going on an errand to the store that they still have a blast. The residents all get a long very well with one another, they really enjoy spending time together.

Another feature that is great about Peregrine's Landing is that they also have a Memory Care facility on-site called St. Therese's Terrace. The staff members who work there are very skilled and knowledgeable in working with those who have different types of memory disorders. They offer a variety of therapies, exercises, and activities that are memory care appropriate and offer therapeutic benefits. They are therapies and activities that help to stimulate their 5 senses and really help benefit their progress with in the facility.

Another benefit is that residents are welcome to short-term stays in each facility if they only need assistance for a short amount of time.
