This facility is thought to be the best in Casper. I disagree for several reasons. I have encountered problems since the day I paid my deposit. I mislead in regards to the rooms that were available. Since then it's been something everyday since my mom moved in on August 16th. I think tonight may have been the last straw. I even decided to overlook the 2/3 puddles of vomit that remained on the concrete walkway in one of the courtyards ALL WEEKEEND..... Tonight she was given the wrong medication and verbally abused by a CNA. And, the same CNA was very sassy and disrespectful to me also. And even tho there was a witness, she denies that she was rude to me also. She continued to speak to me in this manner in front of the administrator and nursing supervisor. The administrator and Nursing Supervisor did come to the facilty and the medication error was corrected. Thankfully my mom does know her meds and didn't take the wrong one. Unfortunately the administrator, not being a witness to an incident, tends to place blame on the resident and or family member. Being a nurse myself with 25+ years of long term care experience I have never seen a family member being blamed for mistakes made the facility staff. Please do your research. Know your rights. Take notes!!!!! and photographs!!!! You will have to prove everything that you are having issues with.
