This community is located at 650 Concord Avenue in Cambridge, MA. From the moment we first spoke with the receptionist on the phone, we could tell this was going to a be a pleasant experience for my father. It was obvious from all that happened during the initial phone screening that the person on the other end was smiling and enjoying her day. She then set an appointment and we met with the Executive Director the next day.It was appealing to not have to meet with a marketing director, rather the opportunity to meet with the person in charge of the community presented itself. We had a facility tour, lunch, and spent time with other residents. Every second of the experience was enjoyable for us and we soon became friendly with the staff.It wasn't soon after this happened that we decided to move my father into this community, which he enjoyed tremendously. He goes to exercise each day, enjoys lunch with his friends, and has gotten back to the loving man that we all knew. There is no other place I could imagine him living at this time.He enjoys his long walks around Fresh Pond and his art classes led by the Resident Care Director in the art room. He even likes having all the college young adults coming to the community to volunteer in different aspects of his life. The computer classes he takes on site are superb and he is really enjoying himself once again. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, this is it!
