I am a friend or relative of a resident

My dad hates it at Landmark. I've been on the phone with my dad and heard the marketing director yelling in the background at him.

She got wind of the fact that I was looking for places closer to me to take my dad in. She called me up and screamed at me that I went behind her back. When she called today, I told her that I was looking into contacting my dad's doctor to reduce his medication because the new assisted living place I found believes that Dad's in a cloudier and foggier state due to all the medicine Landmark has him on. She again yelled me at me as if I was being neglectful because I gave my dad all his required medication except the anti-psychotic drugs which make him just foggier.

Also, when there is a situation like when my dad gets agitated, you think that the staff would call me to let me know what's going on but they don't. The marketing director also pretty much told me not to visit Dad every day because it wasn't helping him and is making him worse, which I think is just ludicrous. If anything, my dad needs familiarity.

I told my concerns to the nurse that administered my dad's regular medicines. She told that if I had any say in it, I should try to find my dad a better place to be.
