I am a friend or relative of a resident
I love Wood River Village but they would not accept my father because he has dementia. It's an excellent place and I have family members that live there. I'll recommend it to others; they have apartments and an Alzheimer's unit. The only thing with Wood River Village is that you have to be able to live there for a certain period of time. Also, if you buy an apartment for $100,000, you would also have to pay an additional $2,600 a month. The package covers your meals and they give you your medication. However, if you have to go into personal care and you don't have an apartment, there's a fee to get in.

Wood River Village has been great to live at. There is always something going on such as card games, intellectual activities, and a lot of social events. There are times were there is entertainment such as music groups coming in. Everyone is very friendly and they even offer transportation. I had visited other places and they were not as welcoming as Wood River Village. They really care here and I could not be happier.
