Rooms are fair. Interaction with Floor Staff is great, but Higher ups are not friendly on no term. Their attitudes are not pleasant. I visit very, very often and are never acknowledged a word of appreciation. Volunteer to assist residents in what ever possible way I can that is within safety guidelines and it is most definitely not appreciated as I was told. The residents enjoy Bingo. The Community offer donated gift items for Resident Auctions and financial donations for Bingo Winners. The attitude and personality of the Administrative Staff is in need of a Professional Make Over. Please address complaints for the well-being of all that may be affected in this environment. Thanks very much for your cooperation in this matter.

My visit to The Care Center was pleasant. I visited this facility because my mother-in-law lived here before she passed on. She was no longer able to live alone in her apartment, so our family searched for an assisted living facility. Upon finding the facility we conducted a tour and decided that The Care Center would be the place where she would reside. The staff was friendly as well as personable. They learned her name very quickly to make her feel at home, as well as learning mine, my husband's, as well as my sister-in-law's name, being that we would be visiting her quite frequently. The amenities were good as well. The room itself was nicely sized since she would not be doing much moving around on her own. The facility itself was nice in that it provided exercise for her since she was unable to really move around a lot. My mother in law passed away months ago, but at least her transition was done around people who loved and cared for her the most.

The Care Center of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is conveniently located at the eastern edge of the city in the suburb of West Sherwood Forest along Interstate 190. It is less than a five-minute drive away from the Ochsner Health Center and a local vision center. Reviews indicate that the staff is informal and friendly, that the rooms are a nice, large size and that residents get lots of exercise. The staff of the Care Center receive praise from visitors and relatives for making sure that residents always feel secure and loved, especially during the difficult last stages of palliative care.
