The Springwell staff takes time to know and understand the needs and desires of each resident and their family. With this insight, services are tailored to the individual to provide the right level of support with such tasks as managing medication, dressing, dining and personal care. Residents can also engage in their choice of activities from a calendar of daily events.

Caring and Attentive Staff

Springwell's caring and attentive staff seeks to enhance the well-being of each person. The staff is trained to provide the necessary supervision and assessment of activities of daily living, while encouraging self-sufficiency. They are also selected for their genuine desire to serve and build relationships with older adults. Partners in Care (PIC)

From time to time residents may require more services than can be provided by Springwell's on-site staff. Partners in Care (PIC) is a unique program designed to provide access to a broad and comprehensive range of personal and health related services from select affiliated community healthcare organizations. Through its preferred provider network, Springwell has identified some of the finest services and resources available in the community ranging from Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, to Geriatric Specialists, Home Health Care and Nursing Facilities. The PIC program offers a comprehensive menu of a la carte health care support to respond to the various and unique needs of residents.

The Springwell Memory Care program is now open at The Gardens Pavilion. Located in Baltimore, we offer Memory Care for Seniors with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.

The goal of The Gardens Memory Care Pavilion at Springwell is to create a friendly, caring and supportive “neighborhood” for residents who share in the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other memory disorders.

While sharing in those challenges, we recognize that each resident has a unique personal history and is uniquely affected by their diagnosis. Springwell therefore strives daily to build a sense of belonging and vibrancy at The Gardens, based on a personalized approach for each individual.

Services in Springwell's Gardens Pavilion differ in a number of ways from the services delivered in our traditional Assisted Living program. These include:

• a focus on serving those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia and/or other memory disorders
• a higher ratio of direct care staff to residents
• activities specially geared toward residents with cognitive impairment
• the same quality food and dining services, but delivered in a smaller, more home-like dining room
