I visited this facility
We visited the Collinfield House assisted living facility while in the Austin area searching for places for our uncle. We wanted to see as many places as we could that day, and the staff was very gracious in allowing us in without an appointment.
We liked that it is a smaller facility; their goal is to provide the best and most individualized care possible - and it really shows.
The grounds were well kept and we particularly liked the tranquility of the beautifully landscaped back yard area. Our uncle would really enjoy that.
The communal areas were nice and had a home-like feel to every room. We liked that they offer a library, sitting room, a place for games and a media room.
The dining room was lovely and nicely furnished. The meals we saw looked delicious and prepared with an eye toward taste and nutrition.
The living spaces were all designed for convenience and security - while still allowing residents to personalize them.
Despite its size -- this facility offers everything that a senior needs in the way of a caring environment to live in. This would be a great place for any senior to live.
