Anderson Mill Assisted Living LLC

I visited this facility

We stopped in to visit Anderson Mill as an assisted living option for our aunt. It is a spacious living environment in the northwest part of Austin - in the Anderson Mill community. The nearest hospital is around five minutes away, which gives us comfort.

The grounds were lovely and well kept. There was plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy on a year-round basis.

All of the rooms we saw were nicely kept, clean and bright. The menu options looked healthy and delicious. The residents get to enjoy a homey atmosphere with excellent care by competent staff - many of whom are medically trained.

They make every effort to provide interesting and stimulating activities from card games, books discussions to watching films and more.

Since this facility specializes in residents who need more care, we are going to select a different place for our aunt -- she is fully ambulatory at this stage and does not require that much care. Should her needs change and require a move, we would definitely consider this facility.
