I didn't know what to expect when I moved my dad from Stone Mountain to Atlanta this past winter. He had lived in an old creaky house that needed repair's beyond both our scopes. But he wanted to live closer to the city and so we searched Atlanta for places where he could live. I discovered Belmont Village and my father felt right at home from the moment he made his first visit. After a short waiting period he moved in and has loved every day since. The staff is really nice and there is lots of grass for the living in the city.

The moment you walk in the lobby you’re greeted with a warm smile and friendly hellos. The staff is compassionate and professional. The residents were happy, alert and bright. The rooms are simply amazing, tastefully decorated very warm and cozy. There are apartments single or double occupancy that are available. It is clear the small touches are what makes the difference here. The residents are truly well cared for here; they have many activities to choose from, outings to the Malls and shops in town, Movies, Arts events, Church and other civic activities. For those who like to stay close to home there are many activates in the facility also. Chess games, cards, concerts, movies and Civic and Religious groups bring programs and worship to the facility. The dining hall is bistro style and the food smelled amazing. The dining hall is very cozy and lends to making new friends and spends special time with old friends. Any extra help needed staff is there right away to help. Your loves one could not be in better hands if you choose this facility. I would place my loved one here.

I visited this facility

When i was looking for a place to keep my father we visited here although we did not choose this place. i must say we were both very pleased with the treatment that we observed the staff giving to the staff members. They had many nice indoor and outdoor activities such as gardening and playing chess and tic-tact-toe.

I am a college student so i do lots of volunteer work with senior citizens. I must say this center was very clean and well organized. They had each senior on a schedule. There was well prepared food. I even got to help with the serving of the food. The seniors had many activities to do, some walking, boardgames, conversation and much more.
