I like that Morada Lake Arlington has activities. The building is not new, but it was clean. It was a nice place, I thought. In the memory care unit, they had individual rooms. I like that because my wife talks at night and I'm sure she would bother some other people. The people were all nice that I talked to. I thought their rates were as good as any I've seen because a lot of them have more add-on charges that they don't have. They have an outside patio or courtyard and a dining area. I looked at their menus. They looked pretty good. They looked like things that my wife would eat.

Morada Lake Arlington was really good and very clean. The appearance was nice and they had a great security system where you have to sign in and everything. The apartments I saw were very nicely decorated. Everybody brings their own decorations, so it'd be whatever the residents brought. Patricia was wonderful. She seemed to be very caring and outgoing. The dining room was beautiful. They had a hair salon and they would do the residents' nails.

Morada Lake Arlington was a very nice community. It was very nice and clean, and the rooms were nice and spacious. We just could not afford it at this time. They furnished you with two meals. They had an arts and crafts room and an exercise room. They had meals set out showing you what they had there and they all looked very good. The staff were very friendly and answered all our questions. They showed us all the rooms that they had and I was very happy with their presentation. They let us decide what we want and just answered our questions. I was very impressed.

My mother is impressed with Morada Lake Arlington. The price was very competitive, if not low compared to other places. The facilities were clean and modern. The people were very engaging. The people that live there seemed to be very happy and very well taken care of. We went there around lunch time, so they weren't doing any activities, but we saw where the rooms were. We went there and ate, and it was a great environment. The food was outstanding, too. It was creative and interesting. I ate one type of meal, and my mother ate a different type of meal, so it wasn't one size fits all. It's actually what she wanted. Dietary wise, I understand they hardly use any salt, but you couldn't tell the difference. It was great. The staff was outstanding, too. I saw the amenities. They had a theater, a library, a sports room, and a room where they do bingo and things like that. They had all those type things, and they seemed to be very nice.

Morada Lake Arlington was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. They had some construction going on, but it was mostly behind closed doors and very unobtrusive. The people were wonderful. The management and everyone in the staff just seemed most considerate of you as an individual. Their interest was not just in the business, but it was in the person that they were dealing with. Their amenities were much more varied than the other places. Surely you can find something that you're interested in with all the variety they have to offer, from exercise to activities, to hobbies, to just anything like that. The residents were more than friendly, too. They were really interested in having you come in and be a part of their community. The facilities were easy to get around in. If you're not able to be around, they assist you beautifully. From the moment you walk in the door, the lady that greets you is so friendly and immediately calls whoever you should see. Even the chef came out to me when we had lunch there, and the food was wonderful. The apartments were great. Almost all of them have really nice views. Their rate was so good that I went ahead and reserved the next bigger apartment. It's real roomy. Not only that, they're going to take all the carpet out in the bedroom and put in a vinyl for me, so I can deal with needles and pins (I sew a lot). I thought that was most accommodating. The one-bedroom apartments and the studio all have kitchenettes (without a stove and oven), but the two bedrooms have them. That was very enticing. It's a good experience all around.

I visited Morada Lake Arlington. The lady who assisted me was very informative and very personable. She gave me a tour and showed me a room, along with other areas like the little shop and their cafeteria. She told me about what was covered, and we discussed prices and everything. I found the facility to be very nice, and it's someplace that I would definitely consider moving. The only drawback for me was that the facility did not have full kitchens. They only had kitchenette, and I'm just not interested in that at this point. If am going to move in the next year or two, I would not want just a kitchenette; that was the only drawback. There was only one unit in that particular facility that had a kitchen, and so what are the odds of getting that one? The reasoning is that all the meals are provided. I guess they must think that you don't really need a full kitchen, but I like to cook. It was the only drawback. Also another drawback is that it's small because I'm coming from a two-story house, but I understand that. I mean, that's my problem that I have to downsize considerably. Everything else about it was lovely. From what I saw, we looked at one room and we walked around a bit. It looked fine and looked clean. There were people walking about, and it seemed fine. It's in a very nice part of town and in a very lovely area. She said that they were going to do some sprucing up. They were going to do some painting and do some carpeting replacement. It looks fine to me. I didn't have any food there. She didn't offer me lunch, but she told me that there were menu selections that you could make and so forth. She actually showed me the menu posted on the entrance to the cafeteria area, and it was very nice. It looks nice and open. It was a seated kind of thing, tables and all that kind of stuff. It was very nice. There wasn't anything about it that I couldn't have lived with, except for the kitchen. It's very nice, but the thing is that the kitchenette was very restrictive. You couldn't even bring a hot plate in. You could have a microwave and a toaster oven, and that's it. I just need to cook more for myself.
